Premalu fame Naslen has now taken up a boxer avatar to offer a fun-filled entertainer with director Khalid Rahman in the upcoming Alappuzha Gymkhana. Featuring a young group of boys aspiring to become boxing champions, the trailer of the comedy entertainer promises an exciting ride. With  Naslen, Ganapathi, Sandeep Pradeep, Anagha Ravi and Kottayam Nazeer portraying the group of youngsters, this film would be a fun-filled entertainer, that will make you laugh and think.

“I can’t say whether I’ll return in an ambulance or as a champion, but wait and watch!” says the lead, Jojo Johnson (Naslen), in the trailer before heading off to a boxing championship. And this is what Alappuzha Gymkhana will be offering to us: a boxing journey mixed with the elements of aspiration, rivals, self exploration and determination.

The trailer introduces the plot with a quarrel between two groups of youngsters; the story escalates when one of them throws a punch. And there begins Jojo’s aspiration to learn boxing and excel in it. But through the journey, the protagonist also realizes that mastering the sport is not that easy. Will he able to make his dream come true? Let’s wait and watch.

Director Khalid Rahman, known for his films Anuraga Karikkin Vellam (2016), Unda (2019), Love (2020) and Thallumaala (2022), is now offering a comedy entertainer

The film features music by Vishnu Vijay, cinematography by Jimshi Khalid and editing by Nishadh Yusuf.

Naslen was last seen in the techno crime thriller, I Am Kathalan (2024) under the direction of Girish AD. He is currently working on a yet-to-be-titled project under Wayfarer Films Production.
