Tharun Moorthy’s next, Thudarum, projected as a comedy entertainer, offers a new Mohanlal in its lead. Watching the trailer, it seems that the movie initially presents a layman protagonist, eventually taking him through a complex narratives.
The Operation Java and Saudi Vellakka director is able to showcase several nuanced emotions of Mohanlal’s character as he is seen enjoying life and his car. By the end of the capsule, the actor is seen obsessed with the car which looks like in police custody.
The movie also stars the evergreen Shobhana, Farhaan Faasil, Maniyanpilla Raju, Binu Pappu, Irshad and Krishna Prabha among others.
