Babil Khan is very vocal about the abundant love and admiration he has for his late father Irrfan Khan. His Instagram posts are often filled with notes to his father. The nascent Bollywood star was never afraid to embrace the vulnerabilities. Often, fans get to have glimpses of the beautiful father-son relation through Babil”s posts.

Babil piqued netizens” concern as he posted and deleted his Instagram stories consisting a cryptic message that read, “Sometimes I feel like giving up and going to Baba”. Babil wrote the message on April 23, days before his father”s fourth death anniversary.

Before he deleted the posts, fans took screenshot of it, and it has been circulating through online platforms, asking if Babil is feeling okay.

Several Reddit user came reacting to the posts saying that they too feel the same about their loved ones who were lost.

Last month, Babil shared an emotional post on his Instagram which featured his parents when they were young. He wrote, “I”m gonna miss you, you know? Standing under my umbrella. I am going to miss you too, but I guess It’s time to dance in the rain now “.

Irrfan Khan bid farewell to the world four years back on April 29,2020. Cancer played the role of villain in Mr, Khan’s life. His family, wife, Sutapa Sidkar and sons, Babil and Ayan khan never let his memories fade as they often remembered and shared stories and memories captured through their social media platform.

Babil thinks that he “was too late” as he could not show his father what he wished for his son to be. The Friday Night Plan actor once wrote, “He was the king and I was his jester. I wish he could have seen that I’ve grown in to his prince. I wish he could see, but I was too late”.

On work front, Babil is gearing up to work with Shoojit Sircar on his next project. Sircar worked with Irrfan Khan in his highly acclaimed movie Piku. Reportedly, the film with Babil is not titled yet. This is the second time the two are collaborating. Their first work, The Umesh Chronicle remains unreleased for the past two years.
