Basil Joseph-Nazriya's Mystery Thriller 'Sookshmadarshini' Hit Theaters Today (Image-Instagram/nazriyafahadh)

Basil Joseph and Nazriya Nazim’s starrer mystery thriller, Sookshmadarshini, hits theaters today. The young filmmaker MC Jithin is here with his second directorial venture to entertain the fans with an interesting question.

So, how well do you know your neighbors? This is all about Sookshmadarshini, a mysterious neighbor, and the investigation spree of a woman. Inspired by an incident that happened in his home, director Jithin has created this film, a Hitchcockian thriller set in a Sathyan Anthikad world, with a female detective.

The interesting factor of the film is that it makes the audience feel connected with the story and the characters. The director also believes that audiences could relate to this idea a lot, as it says we all have a detective in our homes. It’s the story that narrates the special observation skills possessed by a woman.

The synopsis of the film reads, Manuel returns with his mother to their former home in a middle-class  neighborhood.” Suspicious of his intentions, Priyadarshini and her friends begin gathering clues, convinced he may be hiding something sinister.

With two energetic characters, Nazriya and Basil on board, this film promises a thrilling yet funny entertainer. This second directorial of Jithin is produced by Sameer Thahir, Shyju Khalid, and AV Anoop.
