Director Mahesh Narayanan’s upcoming film has begun production in Sri Lanka, and the cast is a dream come true. Mammootty, Mohanlal, Fahadh Faasil, and Kunchacko Boban are teaming up for this highly anticipated spy thriller.

The film will be a reunion of Mammootty and Mohanlal on screen after 11 long years. Their last collaboration, Kadal Kadannu Oru Maathukutty, was a hit, and fans are eagerly awaiting this new project.

Fahadh Faasil, who has previously worked with Mahesh in Take Off, has now joined the cast, adding to the excitement.

Mahesh Narayanan, known for his critically acclaimed films like Take Off, C U Soon, Malik, and Ariyippu, is directing this Malayalam project. Bollywood cinematographer Manush Nandan, who worked on Dunki and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, is handling the camera.

Mammootty has just finished filming an untitled project with Vinayakan and has Bazooka awaiting release. Mohanlal’s directorial debut, Barroz, is set to hit theaters on December 25. Fahadh and Kunchacko were last seen in Amal Neerad’s Bougainvillea, which was released last month.

Earlier this week, Kunchacko Boban posted an epic selfie on Instagram with the two big M’s of the Malayalam film industry: Mammootty and Mohanlal.

Mohanlal arrived in Colombo a week ago to join the shoot. In addition to Sri Lanka, the film will be shot in locations including the UK, Azerbaijan, Dubai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Visakhapatnam.

Even though major updates of the film remain under wraps, reports claim that it would easily emerge as the most expensive film in Malayalam cinema to date.

Earlier, a photo featuring Mammootty, Kunchacko, producer Antony Perumbavoor, Mammootty’s wife Sulfath, and George from Colombo also gained attention from the fans. Kunchacko had previously starred alongside Mammootty and Mohanlal in Harikrishnans.
