The most anticipated Malayalam fantasy film of the year, Barroz got an update today. After a long wait, the trailer of the Mohanlal directorial is finally here to offer a sneak peek into its secrets.
The upcoming movie Barroz: Guardian of Treasure is based on the novel by Jijo Punnoose and marks the directorial debut of acclaimed actor Mohanlal. The film is being produced by Antony Perumbavoor under Ashirvad Movies.

Offering a spectacular visual experience to the audience, the makers have presented a 3D trailer, which drives the audience to the fantasy world. Introducing Mohanlal as the ghost, who guards treasure for centuries, it promises an intriguing ride. Taking the audience into the mysterious world, the trailer reveals an unforgettable story of one man’s wait and fantastic turn of events.
It also introduces other characters of the fantasy story, Isabella—a little girl, a tiny fictional character—and the mysterious elements of the story. Along with the spectacular visuals, the trailer also narrates virtues of life, especially through dialogues like, “No treasure surpasses the value of a drop of tear shed for another.”
