Bramayugam is all mysterious, and spelling sinister vibes. Darkness has overarching presence in the posters. Bramayugam: The Age of Madness is Mammotty”s next and reportedly, in the movie he plays the role of antagonist. The upcoming horror thriller film is helmed and scripted by Bhoothakaaalam famed director Rahul Sadasivan, and dialogues are written by Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award-winning novelist TD Ramakrishnan. Besides Mammootty, the film boasts a stellar cast including Arjun Ashokan, Amanda Liz. Sidharth Bharathan, and Jisshu Sengupta.

While launching the film on August last year, Director claimed it to be “a rooted story set in the dark ages of Kerala”. Promising to be an immersive experience, the movie posters has inspired awe and wonder regarding what it awaits in the silver screen. In all posters released till now, monochromatic theme has been followed.

As new year surprise, the makers has released a character poster of Mammotty where he is seen in never-seen-before look with wearing an headgear resembling of that seen in Yakshaganam, a traditional folk dance form. The makeup and appearance of Mammootty”s exudes ominous vibes and suggest his character is from different realm of existence.

In the character look poster featuring Arjun Ashokan, his face is captured where it evoked terror and vulnerability. His eyes fixated upwards indicates ghostly presence. As per the reports, Arjun Ashokan essays the role of protagonist in the film.
