Actor Mammootty Wins Best Actor At 72nd National Film Awards For Fourth Time
New Delhi: Malayalam superstar Mammootty has won the National Film award for best actor at the 72nd National Film Awards announced on Saturday, July 18. The South Indian star won the best actor award along with actor Kartik Aarya.
Mammootty grabbed the award for his outstanding performance in the film Bramayugam, released in 2024. With this, the actor has won a total of four Best actor national awards in his career spanning over five decades. Over the years, the actor has won the best actor awards 3 times in 1989, 1993 and 1998.

Made his screen debut as an extra artist in 1971 at the age of 20, Mammootty has since appeared in more than 400 films across several languages, particularly in Malayalam.
