Since the trailer of Prithviraj sukumaran  directorial flagship Empuraan, the sequel to celebrated Lucifer, is out, social media are abuzz discussing the nuances of the film. Interestingly, the trailer has not revealed the potential villains in the upcoming release, which is scheduled for March 27.

Lucifer concluded without having any obvious antagonists remaining, leaving the upcoming villain character ambiguous, unlike the hero, Mohanlal. The initial poster released during the movie announcement introduced a character dressed in white from behind. Another picture showed the hinted villian wearing a black overcoat with a red Chinese dragon symbol behind, adding mystery to the character.

Even after the release of the trailer on Thursday, the character still continued to evade clarity, hightening the excitement and anticipation of filmgoers.

Given the global connection of the film, in the context of Khureshi Ab’raam, the villain could be potentially connected to another international gang, probably from another country, with the possibility of the villain from some Hollywood or any other film industry. Interestingly, it is still unclear whether Khureshi Ab’raam is the leading actor, Mohanlal, or any another character, though the movie had hinted that both could be the same person.

Considering the hype and mystery surrounding the potential villain, it is inferred that the role played by the character will have significant impact on the big screen.
