Fahadh Faasil’s Aavesham hit theatres today. The film portrays Fahadh Faasil as a quirky goon from Bangalore. Aavesham appears to be a joy ride for the audience as the star rules the screen with his amazing screen presence and nuanced acting. The film is helmed by Jithu Madhavan.

Talking about his character Ranga at a press conference, Fahadh said, “I have never done a film or a character like this. My character Ranga speaks in a mixture of Malayalam and Kannada, so it is very different and complex”.

Initial response imply that fans are thoroughly enjoying the film. Aavesham seems to be the front-runner among the triple release of Malayalam, which also include Pranav Mohanlal and Dhyan Srinivasan’s Varshangalkku Shesham and Unni Mukundan’s Jai Ganesh.

Aavesham revolves around three college students who are bullied by their seniors. The trio decided to recruit a local goon from Bengaluru to help them hit back. Fahadh plays the role of a quirky gangster in the film. He appears to be in his element portraying the screwy character with ease. Reportedly, Aavesham is based on true events that happened in Jithu Madhavan’s life.

The film also stars Sajin Gopu, Mansoor Ali Khan, Ashish Vidyarthi, Mithun Jai Shankar, Roshan Shanavas, and Midhutty in key roles. The music, done Sushin Shyam, promises a goosebump ride.
