As it opens in cinemas across Kerala today, all eyes are on audience reactions. Will this debut directorial strike the right chord with viewers? Let’s see what the audience has to say.

A moviegoer who caught ‘Aabhyanthara Kuttavaali’ on its release day shared a rather underwhelmed opinion. According to them, the film struggles with a very thin storyline and suffers from a slow-paced screenplay and narration that makes it hard to stay engaged.

They did, however, praise Asif Ali’s performance, saying he did a good job in his role. But beyond that, the characters felt underdeveloped, lacking the depth needed to create any real emotional connection with the audience.

The viewer noted that while the last 10 minutes were somewhat impactful, the overall runtime felt unnecessarily long, with several subplots that didn’t contribute much to the core narrative.

Another film enthusiast wrote on the X platform:  “Recent Worst film of Asif Ali. …everything falls under average…terrible outing  Not recommended.”

Another viewer shared their thought that apart from the basic idea, everything else fails at the execution level. Calling it a bad misfire, they felt the film couldn’t translate its concept into a compelling cinematic experience.

Another reviewer noted that while the film explores a good topic and benefits from decent presentation, strong technical support, and a solid performance by Asif Ali, it still falls short in some key areas. According to the review, the courtroom scenes lacked impact, and the climax felt too simple and underwhelming, leaving the viewer wanting more. They concluded by calling it an “okay one-time watch” that had potential but didn’t fully capitalise on it.
