Jennifer Winget is an absolute amalgamation of grace and glamour, and her fan base are on another level. The versatile actress is one of the highest-paid television actresses in India. With her arresting physicality and top-notch fashion game, the star never missed a chance to turn heads when she appears.

Winget started her acting as a child actor in 1995, when she was 10-years-old. She made her television debut in the series Shaka Laka Boom Boom (2002). She is best known for her roles in Kasauti Zindagi Kay, Dill Mill Gaye, Saraswatichandra, Beyhadh, and Bepannah.

Each role was very different to one another and Winget essayed it with absolute marvel. Winget as Maya Mehrotra in the psychological thriller Beyhadh is a perfect comeback. After taking the back seat for two years, from 2014 to 2016, Winget stepped-up with a bang as Maya, a complex and obsessive lover. Her portrayal of the grey character was widely accepted and appreciated. She won several accolades for the role.

In 2018, she grabbed headlines with her character as Zoya Siddiqui Hooda in the series Bepannah. She garnered many awards for her stupendous performance in the series.

She started to appear in web series in 2020, with ALT Balaji’s crime drama series, Code M. She also appeared in the second season of the series. After two years hiatus, she returned in a legal drama named Raisinghani Vs Raisinghani this year. Winget known how to deliver, and each of her characters are portrayed with absolute grace.

She is a woman of less words and her silence often speaks louder for her. During one of her interview given to media, she said she now know how to turn the noise shut, and have a strong support system including family, friends and fans, who actually know her, which is all that matters to her.

Winget is an icon for the 90s born girls. Reportedly, most of the 90s’ girls have Winget as profile pictures for their social media accounts.

Winget was born in Bombay (present Mumbai) in 1985, to a Punjabi mother and a Maharashtrian Christian father. She was often mistaken to be a person outside India for western first name, Jennifer. Winget married Karan Singh Grover – who was her co-star is some of the series she starred – in 2012. They got divorced in 2014. Grover is now married to Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu.
