K-Pop Stars Shine at 2024 Billboard Music Awards: Jungkook, Stray Kids, and SEVENTEEN Take Home Top Honors.
The 2024 Billboard Music Awards have announced their winners and K-pop fans have plenty to celebrate. Jungkook from BTS, Stray Kids and SEVENTEEN all took home top honours in various categories.
The awards show was held on December 12, and the winners were announced during the ceremony. BTS’ Jungkook was the biggest winner of the night, taking home two awards for his solo work.

His debut solo album “Golden” won the award for Top K-pop Album, while his single “Standing Next to You” won the award for Top Global K-pop Song.

This marks Jungkook’s second consecutive year winning at the BBMAs. Unfortunately, he was unable to attend the ceremony as he is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service in Korea.
Stray Kids also had a big night taking home the award for Top Global K-pop Artist. The group delivered a powerful performance of their hits “Chk Chk Boom” and “Jjam.”
In their acceptance speech, Stray Kids thanked their fans, known as Stay, for their support. “We’re truly grateful to our fans, Stay, all over the world,” they said. “We feel like we’re able to receive such a precious award and perform on a big stage like this all because Stay is by our side.”

SEVENTEEN also won big that they took home the award for Top K-pop Touring Artist. The group performed their hit song “Love, Money, Fame” during the ceremony.
In a prerecorded acceptance speech, SEVENTEEN thanked their fans, known as Carat for their love and support.
