Mystery Brews In Wayanad: Kunchacko Boban’s ‘Oru Durooha Saahacharyathil’ Trailer Intrigues Fans
The makers of Oru Durooha Saahacharyathil, starring Kunchacko Boban, have officially announced the film’s release date along with an engaging new trailer on Thursday.
Directed by Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval, the film is set to hit theatres on April 15, 2026.
The two-minute trailer has already grabbed attention for its mysterious tone and strong performances.

Set in the scenic backdrop of Wayanad, the film hints at a layered narrative filled with suspense and intriguing characters. Kunchacko Boban appears in a rural role as a local health centre staffer.
The film also features a talented ensemble cast, including Dileesh Pothen, Sajin Gopu, Sharanya, Chidambaram, Rajesh Madhavan, Jaffer Idukki, and Sudheesh in key roles. Each character seems to carry a mystery, adding depth to the narrative.
While the makers have kept the storyline under wraps, the trailer builds curiosity without revealing too much. It suggests a gripping plot where multiple lives intersect under unusual and suspenseful circumstances.
Produced by Listin Stephen under Magic Frames along with Kunchacko Boban’s Udaya Pictures, the film promises quality storytelling and strong technical support. The cinematography is handled by Arjun Sethu, with music by Dawn Vincent.
This project reunites Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval with Kunchacko Boban, Rajesh Madhavan, and Sudheesh after their previous collaboration in Sureshanteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hrudayahariyaya Pranayakadha (2024). Notably, Kunchacko Boban had also reprised his popular character Kozhummal Rajeevan from Nna Thaan Case Kodu in that film.
Kunchacko Boban was last seen in Officer on Duty, directed by Jithu Ashraf, and has a strong lineup ahead.
He will also be seen in the big-budget multistarrer Patriot, directed by Mahesh Narayanan, alongside Mammootty, Mohanlal, Nayanthara, Fahadh Faasil, Revathi, and Darshana Rajendran. Patriot is scheduled to release on May 1, 2026.
