Netflix’s 'The Perfect Couple': Ishaan Khatter Bares It All In The Nicole Kidman Series

Bollywood actor Ishaan Khatter has made a special cameo appearance in Netflix’s The Perfect Couple, and fans are gaping with their mouths open because it sure is a special appearance.

The teaser trailer drop of the upcoming Netflix murder mystery opens with Greer Garrison Winbury (Kidman) and Tag Winbury (Liev Schreiber) being the perfect couple and the heads of a perfect family. When their son Benji Winbury’s (Billy Howle) wedding preparations begin, his fiancée Amelia Sacks’s (Eve Hewson) and a body found on the beach lead to the family’s secrets unravelling. With the police investigation underway, everyone is a suspect.

While the trailer is packed with an excellent cast, it is Ishaan Khatter’s cameo appearance that takes the pie. The actor is seen in the shower, bare-bodied and all, turning to look at the person who walked in with a surprised look on his face.

This will be the second international project for Ishaan, who previously featured in Netflix’s British miniseries A Suitable Boy (2020).

Sharing the clip on his Instagram handle, Ishaan wrote, “Just a tease (wink emoji).” Reacting to the clip, sister-in-law Mira Rajput posted a story sharing the teaser trailer and wrote, “Solid!!! @ishaankhatter, so proud of you (red heart emoji). You won, brother.”

The series also stars Meghann Fahy, Dakota Fanning, and Jack Reynor.

Based on the 2018 novel of the same name by famous novelist Elin Hilderbrand, the series is directed by Susanne Bier and will premiere on September 5 only on Netflix.
