
On Its 15th Foundation Day, Actor Surya Gets Emotional Moved By Agaram Beneficiaries' Success Stories
Chennai, Tamil Nadu: On 15th foundation day of Agaram foundation, actor Surya established to support underprivileged students in their pursuit of education, several beneficiaries shared heart wrenching stories of pain, struggles and and eventual victory.
Through the support of the foundation, many students have been able to pursue their higher education ambitions and achieve their dreams for over the past one decades. One of the key session in the foundation day celebration is the students sharing their journey with Agaram foundation from being desperate aspirants to landing their career and achieving goals in front of the actor who support the foundation.

Surya has been seen getting emotional witnessing the impact and benefits of his foundation, sometimes shedding tears during the events expressing his emotional support too to the students who benefited from his foundation.
During the recent event, Surya got emotional listening to the speech of several beneficiaries of the Agaram Foundation. A young doctor’s life was transformed by the Agaram Foundation. Once working for a meager Rs 3,000 monthly salary, he had almost given up on his dream of attending medical college he cherished. However, upon coming to know about Agaram, he submitted an application and later got an MBBS slot at Stanley Medical College, Chennai in 2015.

The foundation covered tuition fees, accommodation expenses, and other costs, while also providing valuable mentorship. Today, instead of seeking employment elsewhere, the beneficiary has opened a medical center in his village, speaking volume about Agaram’s impact and reach in the grassroot. The doctor’s heartfelt words moved actor Surya to tears during the foundation’s 15th anniversary celebration.

Users on social media have praised the actor’s emotional responses noting that it emanates from his deep commitment to education and his passion for helping those in need. The foundation has reportedly helped over 7,000 underprivileged students from remote villages, suggesting a transformative power of the foundation’s work and influence on the lives of many students.
Many lauded the actor’s effort in uplifting those underprivileged, pointing out what influential people can do or are supposed to do for the society, though few dubbed the events as merely PR. However, users defended such claims stating even if it is PR, it should be welcomed as such initiatives are literally changing the lives of hundreds of children, lifting the whole family and their future generations.
