Actress Parineeti Chopra and AAP leader Raghav Chadha tied knot in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur on Sunday. The couple are yet to make an official announcement on their social media handles. The Punjabi wedding, held at Leela Palace, was attended by their families and friends.
Parineeti Chopra wore the bridal dress designed by Manish Malhotra, as per reports. The couple hasn”t yet posted their first photo in their wedding dress in social media. In one of the video captured by ANI, Kabira song from Yeh Jawaani Hei Deewani is heard playing from the wedding venue.
The pre-wedding festivities commenced two days ago. The pair held their Haldi ceremony on September 23 followed by a sangeet night. A photo of the couple along with DJ Navaraj Hans was released. Both, the bride and groom, looked stunning in their attire. Parineeti wore a glittering outfit along with long coat while Raghav opted to wear a contrasting black attire for the evening.
The sangeet ceremony was entirely Bollywood and 90’s themed. Before arriving at Udaipur, Parineeti and Raghav hosted a Sufi night for close friends and family members in Delhi.
Several family members, friends and politicians including Manish Malhotra, Sania Mirza and Harbhajan Singh were in Udaipur to attend the royal wedding. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Yuva Sena Chief Aaditya Thackeray also attended the wedding in Udaipur and were a part of Raghav Chadha”s baraat.
Earlier in the afternoon, the baraatis arrived on a boat adorned with decorations that showcased glimpses of Mewar traditions, says ANI.
But Parineeti’s cousin and global star Priyanka Chopra missed the wedding and she gave a hint that she might not be able to attend the wedding on her Instagram on Saturday.

At the same time, her mother Dr Madhu Chopra attended the wedding.
Parineeti and Raghav got engaged on May 13 at Kapurthala House in New Delhi. They both attended colleges in London. They confirmed their relationship publicly after their engagement.
