Blessy’s Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer The Goat Life (Aadujeevitham) will be releasing sooner than the date announced earlier. Prithviraj, who is playing the protagonist in the movie, has announced today that Aadujeevitham will be released worldwide on March 28, instead of the earlier fixed April 10.

“The long wait gets shorter…The Goat Life releasing worldwide on 28th March, 2024,” the actor wrote on his social media handles.

The movie is based on the famous survival story by Malayalam author Benyamin and the music done by Oscar-winner Indian music maestro AR Rahman. Considered as one of the most ambitious project from the Malayalam movie industry, the movie is reportedly a co-production by companies from India and United States.

The movie which talks about the story of Najeeb, a Malayali immigrant labourer whose character is based on the real life experience of a person from Alappuzha district’s Arattupuzha. In the real story and in the novel, now in the movie as well, the story is about a Malayali who finds himself forced into slavery as a goatherd on a secluded farm in Saudi Arabia.

The movie is a long time dream of director Blessy, who had done many critically acclaimed and commercially successful movies in the past including Kaazhcha (2004), Thanmathra (2005), Pranayam (2011) and Bhramaram (2009). The Goat Life was in making for more than last ten years and many developments happened including financial hurdles.

Apart from Prithviraj, the movie also stars Amala Paul, Rik Aby and Talib al Balushi.
