The fervently anticipated Pushpa 2: The Rule, directed by Sukumar, featuring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil is slated to release on December 5.
As the film’s release date draws near, aficionados are eagerly awaiting the commencement of advance bookings expecting a super hit sequel.
In response to the film’s unprecedented demand, the state governments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have issued ordinances permitting a substantial hike in ticket prices with the maximum rate fixed at Rs 600 per person.
This will be applicable solely for the initial four days of the film’s release from December 5 and culminating on December 9. Also, this inflated ticket price breaks all previous records, rendering it the most expensive cinematic experience ever for a Telugu film.
According to reports, this practice of increasing ticket prices for highly anticipated releases is not a new thing. Precedents exist with films such as Kalki 2898 AD, Salaar and Devara having received the same approvals with ticket prices ranging from Rs 395 to Rs 495. However, the huge demand for Pushpa 2: The Rule has led to an even higher ticket price.

The crew intends to release the film in over 800 theaters across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana with multiple screenings scheduled for each theater. The sequel promises to delve deeper into the universe established in Pushpa: The Rise, giving spice to the drama and action that captivated audiences worldwide.
The Pushpa 2 trailer showed extreme action and suspense about the Indian Telugu-language action drama film headed by Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj.
The film also features big names like Jagapathi Babu, Dhananjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil and Anasuya Bharadwaj. Pushpa 2 will be released in theatres worldwide on December 5 and a grand trailer release ceremony was held in the Gandhi Maidan of Bihar’s Patna on November 17.

Pushpa series, written and directed by Arya fame Sukumar was initially a single film project but later transformed into a two-film series after the makers understood the business and potential of the script.
As the name of the prequel suggests, the first instalment of Pushpa was about the rise of a common man and sandalwood smuggler into the top echelons of the syndicate. And obviously, Pushpa 2: The Rule is going to be about how he is going to rule the sandalwood smuggling world.
