The perfect family entertainer of acclaimed actress Keerthy Suresh is on board with its Independence Day release and the makers have unveiled the promising hilarious journey of the actress against the Hindi imposition.

The makers of Keerthy Suresh‘s upcoming film Raghu Thatha, after unleashing the first single, now have dropped the most awaited trailer today. Unveiling the trailer the makers wrote “Catch the excitement and laughter. Dive into the fun with a new twist!”

Set in the backdrop of the 90s, the trailer periodic drama opens with the usual stereotyped questions and dialogues thrown at the women of the decades about marriage and the disciplines. Being a women-centric film, the trailer portrays Kayalvizhi as the one who questions the stereotypes. But the trailer is not only about it, with the glimpses of the protest against Hindi imposition on the other hand Keerthy Suresh’s investigative attempts to prevent an unknown threat. The trailer highlights multiple issues with an old man’s protest against Hindi imposition and Keerthy’s efforts to learn the same language.

This CBFC’s Universal-certified film will hit the theaters on August 15. The National Award-winning actress has joined hands with director Sukumar as it was bankrolled by the makers of KGF and Kanthara-the Hombale Films Production. The music was scored by Sean Roldan and the first single was already released.

This movie will be facing a clash in the theaters with other major releases from Kollywood like Thangalaan of Vikram, and Demonte Colony 2 of Arulnidhi. However, this Independence Day offers a great treat with multiple genres of comedy entertainment, historical fantasy, and action horror.
