Suzhal - The Vortex Season 2 Trailer Out: Kathir, Aishwarya Rajesh In Gripping Murder Mystery
The trailer for the second season of Suzhal – The Vortex, a Tamil crime thriller, was released today, on February 19, 2025.
Starring Kathir and Aishwarya Rajesh in lead roles, the series will be available for streaming on Prime Video from February 28, 2025.
The new season picks up with a dark mystery in the fictional village of Kaalipattanam during the Ashtakaali festival.

A veteran activist lawyer and social worker named Chellappa (played by Lal) is brutally murdered, sending shockwaves through the village and beyond.
Kathir plays Sakkarai, a sub-inspector who is tasked with solving the crime. Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rajesh’s character, Nandini, is haunted by her past as she faces an uncertain future in prison.

As the investigation deepens, Sakkarai and Nandini find themselves entangled in a web of deceit, conspiracy, and deaths.
The case becomes even more complicated when eight young women, who have no connection to each other, are linked to the murder.
Produced by Wallwatcher Films and directed by Bramma and Sarjun KM, the show features a talented cast, including Lal, Gouri Kishan, Samyuktha Vishwanathan, and more.
The technical team includes director of photography Abraham Joseph, music director Sam C S, and editor Richard Kevin. A, and executive producer Gowtham Selvaraj.

The production design is handled by Arun Venjaramoodu, with costumes by Subhashree Karthik Vijay and stunt coordination by Dhilip Subbarayan and Dinesh Subbarayan. The series also features work from mix engineer Anand Ramachandran and associates Anand Murali, Kanish Prabhu C, Arun Amarenthiran, and Vinod C. Associate producers are S. Guhapriya and S. Nandakumar, with production management by Chakravarthy Narasimhan.
The second season will premiere on Prime Video in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, with English subtitles. It will be available in over 240 countries starting February 28, 2025.
