Following the arrest, Srikanth underwent an extensive nine-hour interrogation at the Nungambakkam Police Station. As part of the procedure, his blood sample was collected and sent for testing. According to the reports, the test results confirmed the presence of narcotic substances, which further substantiated the allegations.
Before being remanded, Srikanth was first taken to Kilpauk Medical College Hospital for a routine medical examination. He was then presented before Magistrate Dhayalan of the 14th Metropolitan Magistrate Court at Egmore.
Given the urgency of the matter and the time of day, the hearing was held at the magistrate’s residence, located within the Judicial Officers’ Quarters in Chennai. The actor was represented by his legal counsel, advocate Vignesh Ramanadhan, during the session. The magistrate ordered that Srikanth be placed in judicial custody until July 7, pending further investigation.

The cumulative amount spent is said to be around ₹4.72 lakh, which was reportedly transferred digitally via Google Pay, providing investigators with a clear financial trail.
Srikanth, a familiar face in both Tamil and Telugu cinema, began his acting career with the 1999 television series Jannal – Marabu Kavithaigal, directed by the legendary K. Balachander.
