Siddu Jonnalagadda (popularly known as Star Boy) and Sithara Entertainments are teaming up for the third time in Telugu after delivering blockbuster hits like DJ Tillu and Tillu Square. Today, on the day of Vijaya Dashami, October 12, the director Ravikanth Perepu and makers announced this project ‘Kohinoor’ with a unique plotline – “bringing back the legendary Kohinoor diamond to India,” said to be an epic adventure. The makers wrote on the X platform: “We have been patient for around 1000 years to claim what rightfully belongs to us  Behold, he will bring back the glory of Goddess Bhadrakali.” 

Siddu Jonnalagadda is known for choosing distinctive subjects and this one is no exception. He joins forces with talented director Ravikanth Perepu who has delivered cult thrillers like Kshanam and romantic entertainers like Krishna And His Leela. Siddu also shared a post of the upcoming thriller ‘Kohinoor‘ on his Instagram handle.


The film is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya of Sithara Entertainment and Fortune Four Cinemas promises to be a thrilling blockbuster. The team is up with a lavish budget that the Kohinoor is set to release in January 2026.
