However, the presence of Vijay Devarakonda at the occasion made fans speculate about a possible collaboration.
As fans eagerly await this collaboration, a recent buzz suggested that Vijay might play a key role in Suriya’s upcoming film. As per the Sun News report, the makers of Suriya 46 have reportedly roped in the Kingdom actor to share screen space with him. Even though there is no official confirmation from the team yet, the report validates the presence of Vijay at the pre-release event.
Apart from this, Suriya has teamed up with RJ Balaji for the film tentatively titled Suriya 45. Interestingly, this movie also marks his reunion with Trisha Krishnan after nearly 20 years. Their last collaboration was in Aaru (2005). The duo has also shared the screen for many blockbusters like Mounam Pesiyadhe and Aaytha Ezhuthu.

The recent update also suggested that the duo will portray lawyers in the RJ Balaji directorial. The cast also includes Swaswika, known for Lubber Pandhu, in a significant role. Yogi Babu and Shhivada have also joined the cast along with cinematographer and actor Natty. Fresh faces like Anagha Maaya Ravi and Supreeth Reddy will also feature in supporting roles.
Meanwhile, Vijay Devarakonda’s upcoming release, Kingdom, scheduled to hit theatres this May, has now been postponed to July 4. Since the current situation appears unsuitable at the moment to have any promotional events for the action thriller, the film, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, has been pushed to July.
