Suriya’s Grand-Scale Entertainer Titled Karuppu: First Look Unveiled On Director RJ Balaji’s Birthday

The title of actor Suriya’s forthcoming commercial entertainer has officially been unveiled as Karuppu. The announcement was made today to coincide with the birthday of the film’s director, RJ Balaji, adding to the celebratory spirit surrounding the project.

Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, known for their exceptional body of work across Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi cinema, Karuppu stands as the production house’s most expensive and ambitious project to date.

This film marks a significant shift for director RJ Balaji, who is known for his compact, content-driven entertainers. Adding further excitement is the reunion of Suriya and Trisha Krishnan, two of Tamil cinema’s beloved stars, after nearly two decades.

Both actors will be seen in distinctive makeovers, offering audiences something entirely fresh from their usual screen personas. The ensemble cast also features acclaimed talents such as Indrans, Natty, Swasika, Anagha Maya Ravi, Sshivada, and Supreeth Reddy.

Musical duties for Karuppu are helmed by viral music sensation Sai Abhyankkar, while celebrated cinematographer GK Vishnu is handling the visuals.

Kalaivanan oversees the editing, and the high-octane action sequences are choreographed by the renowned trio Anbariv and Vikram Mor.
