The Villainous Khafeel Of Aadujeevitham: Who Is Dr Talib Al Balushi

Dr Talib Al Balushi is the most sought after name in Malayalam film industry today. Balushi is soaring high with his spectacular performance in the top-notch much anticipated movie Aadujeevitham. Balushi plays the role of Khafeel, the godawful villain.

Khafeel reeks of everything bad. He is ruthless and sickening. Balushi drew a convincing act in inking the villain in the hearts of audience. Initial reports suggest that Balushi incarnate Khafeel in all his despicable glory. It is said that Balushi is menacing in his acting and will make audience loath to bit with his stupendous performance.

Dr Talib Al Balushi is a renowned Omani actor. Balushi is in Kerala to watch his second Malayalam movie, since the movie is not allowed to release in Oman and Saudi Arabia. He hopes that nobody hates him for his character in the film. Talking to Mathrubhumi, Balushi said though he had been casted in many villain roles before, he is a good man.

The 64-year-old Dr Talib Al Balushi stepped into acting in 1974, by appearing in regional dramas. He started working in Omani series since 1976. Balushi says Aadujeevitham is one of the greatest films in his career. The star came under the radar of Aadujeevitham director Blessy after watching the former’s first Malayalam film Zayana, an India-Omani production.

Balushi is mesmerized with Kerala. In an interview given to Mathrubhumi, he said Kerala is a “nice nature, nice people, they respect each other”. He said there is no Muslim, Christian, Hindu differences in Kerala and everyone sits together.

While speaking to a group of NRI’s at restaurant in Muscut ahead of the release of the movie, Balushi said, “It is my luck that I am part of a massive movie project, and it is a great achievement for me to act along with Prithviraj. I am thankful to director Blessy for this. Blessy made me part of the movie as he was visiting Oman”.

Balushi said he is deeply impressed by Prithviraj Sukumaran’s professionalism and brilliance. Talking about filmmaker Blessy, he said, “he is not just a director, he is a god-blessed human”. Dr Talib Al Balushi holds PhD in film studies and is passionate about acting. He hopes that he would get more opportunities in Malayalam films. He said though he do not speak much Malayalam, he would like to work with the industry more.
