Shang-Chi filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton will be directing the fourth part. The title reveal was done by none other than Tom Holland himself via a video reel, reported The Wrap.
““I’m so sorry I can’t be there. I’m halfway around the world shooting a movie,” Holland said. The movie he’s referring to is of course Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, starring Matt Damon, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson and Anne Hathaway.
Sony has locked the release date for July 31, 2026.

While the plot details remain under wraps, the title suggests that the upcoming sequel will be a fresh (re)start for both Peter Parker and Spider-Man as they rebuild their lives following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The last film ended with Spider-Man sacrificing his identity to fix the multiverse, which leads to a reality where no one remembers him.
Although the cast remains under wraps, Zendaya (MJ) and Jacob Batalon (Ned) are expected to return with the new addition of Sadie Sink. Speculations are rife that Sadie may have been roped in to play the iconic X-Men mutant Jean Grey, setting up an interesting crossover. However, there have been no confirmations yet.
