Star-Studded Thriller: Fahadh Faasil, Naslen, Ganapathi & Arjun Das Team Up for Torpedo.
After the massive success of Alappuzha Gymkhana, the duo Naslen and Ganapathi are reuniting once again.
This time for an ambitious action-thriller titled “Torpedo”, directed by Thudarum and Saudi Vellakka fame Tharun Moorthy.
The makers today unveiled the announcement poster, kicking off the buzz around one of Malayalam cinema’s most anticipated collaborations of the year.
The film is being produced by Ashiq Usman under the banner Ashiq Usman Productions, and features a stellar ensemble that includes Fahadh Faasil, Arjun Das, and Binu Pappu, also pens the screenplay for Torpedo.
Tamil actor Arjun Das, known for his deep voice and intense roles in Tollywood, will also be seen in a major role, marking a rare cross-industry collaboration.

Torpedo brings together a skilled technical team. Jimshi Khalid handles the cinematography, while Sushin Shyam is in charge of the music.
Vivek Harshan takes on the role of editor, with Vishnu Govind managing sound design. Gokul Das is responsible for art direction, and Mashar Hamsa oversees costume design.
The film’s action sequences are choreographed by Supreme Sundar, and makeup is handled by Ronex Xavier. Sudharman Vallikkunnu serves as the production controller, with still photography by Amal C Sadhar. The title poster was designed by Oldmonks.
The film is expected to begin principal photography by the end of May 2025, with shoot locations and production schedules being finalized.

Torpedo is already being tipped as a potential game-changer for Malayalam cinema in the action-thriller genre.
After the success of Aavesham and his brief but notable appearance in Bougainvillea, Fahadh Faasil is set to make a strong return to Malayalam cinema with a packed slate of upcoming projects.
Among the titles lined up are Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira, Karate Chandran, and MMMN, all of which are currently in various stages of development.
