The Malayalam film industry is on a roll with back-to-back enthralling films. Cinegoers have another exciting film to wait for as the team of Hridayam is back with the much-awaited Varshangalkku Shesham.

Helmed by the multi-talented Vineeth Sreenivasan, the film promises an ensemble cast featuring Pranav Mohanlal, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Kalyani Priyadarshan, and a special cameo by Nivin Pauly and Basil Joseph.

The period romantic film follows the lives of two ambitious best friends, essayed by Pranav and Dhyan, and the ups and downs of friendship, love, and dreams. Set in the small neighbourhood of Kodambakkam, the cinema hub of Chennai, the film promises to be a treat for cinema lovers. Set in the 1980s, Varshangalkku Shesham depicts the hardships, betrayal, resilience, and love the two friends encounter as they try to navigate the realities behind the dreamy world of cinema.

Releasing on April 11, the film is set to clash with Fahadh Faasil’s Aavesham, directed by Romancham fame Jithu Madhavan.

Son of singer-composer Bombay Jayashri, Amrit Ramnath marks his debut feature film composition. Think Music, the record label behind the hit jukebox of Hridayam, is once again collaborating with Vineeth Sreenivasan.

Vineeth Sreenivasan took to Instagram to share that the film’s final mix has been finished. He wrote, “Can’t wait to bring the film to you guys… Keep us in prayer… This one is really, really special!”
