Actress Amala Paul, beautifully dressed in pink off-shoulder jumpsuit, might have never expected this to be her birthday surprise from her boyfriend Jagat Desai. Jagat, looking handsome in denim and mustard jacket, went down on his knees to express his unending love for his world.
The pretty actress, who has been single since getting divorced from director Vijay, will now get married to Jagat Desai.
The couple shared their lovely moment in a video on their Instagram account, captioned, “My gypsy queen said yes, happy birthday my love”. The engagement video has gone viral.

In the video, Jagat was initially asked by the dancers to join them as they all grooved to the music. Later, Jagat invited Amala to the dance floor, where he went on his knees and proposed to her. Amala is completely surprised, nods her head and says yes. The video ended as the duo danced together to the music and celebrated with champagne.
The official announcement of their engagement has swerved up some lovely comments from her colleagues and fans alike. But this news might have heartbroken some of her fans, as they will have to let go of their crush now.
The couple will soon share more details about their wedding. Amala was earlier married to AL Vijay in June 2014 in Chennai. But in 2017, they both got divorced.
On the work front, Amala will soon be seen in Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Malayalam film Aadujeevitham, directed by Blessy.
