The makers of the Malayalam film Level Cross shared on Saturday that the movie earned a place in the renowned Academy (Oscar) specifically the Margaret Herrick Library in Los Angeles. Actor Asif Ali extended gratitude as he shared the news on an Instagram post.

“We are truly honoured to have our script recognized by the Academy Library,” said Arfaz Ayub, Director of “Level Cross.” The screenplay and story were written by Arfaz Ayub with dialogues by Adam Ayub. The film was presented by Jeethu Joseph and produced by Ramesh P Pilla. The script will be a part of the library’s prestigious Core Collection.
“Level Cross” has captured everyone’s attention with its unique approach and compelling storytelling. Cinematographer Appu Prabhakar’s stunning imagery and Prem Nawaz’s production design created a visually arresting experience that complemented the film’s deep narrative.

Apart from that, Asif’s portrayal of Raghu who had a mysterious past and Amala Paul’s layered performance as Chaithaali brought depth and intrigue to the story, Sharafudheen also acted well in the movie. Despite the minimal cast and setting, Arfaz Ayub skillfully built an engaging narrative proving his mettle as a director to watch out for, as it was already released through OTT platforms after the success in the theatres. Since its release, the film has grabbed the eyes of the spectators and has garnered the hearts of many.
