Asif Ali's 'Abhyanthara Kuttavali': First Look Promises A Comedy Entertainer (Image-Instagram/sethunathpadmakumar)
Sensational actor Asif Ali, who is entertaining the audience with back-to-back in-depth films, announced his next project with debutant director Sethunath Padmakumar. On the occasion of his birthday, the announcement was made with a first-look poster.
Asif Ali has been attracting the audience with his unique film selections like Rekhachitram, Kishkindha Kandam, and Level Cross, and earning both commercial and critical acclaim, especially for his performances. As the buzz around his recent crime thriller settles in, the actor is gearing up for his next film titled Abhyanthara Kuttavali.

The announcement was made earlier today, commemorating the actor’s 39th birthday. With Asif Ali on board, Sethunath Padmakumar, who had earlier worked as an assistant director in films such as Ishq and Mahaveeryar, is ready to make his directorial debut.
Prior to the announcement, Padmakumar teased the audience by hinting at the film. On his social media handle, the director wrote, “Get set to witness a wedding story like never before! Starring: Asif Ali in Grand Wedding Tale — where love meets surprises! ✨ Stay tuned.”
Promising to offer a comedy entertainer surrounding marriage, the director unveiled the motion poster today. Featuring Asif as a groom in the marriage attire, the motion poster hilariously introduces the film while unveiling the title.

While Asif plays the protagonist, actress Thulasi will be the female lead. The stellar cast of the film includes actors Jagadish, Harisree Ashokan, Prem Kumar, Sidharth Bharathan, Azees Nedumangad, Vijayakumar, Balachandran Chullikkad, Anand Manmadhan, and Neeraja Rajendran of Aavesham fame.
The film’s technical team features cinematographer Ajay David Kachappilly, editor Sobin K Soman, and music director Bijibal. The film is being produced by producer Naisam Salam. Abhyanthara Kuttavali‘s shoot began in August 2024 and was completed in October 2024.
