A recent video of a woman bungee jumping went viral on social media with many claiming that the woman in the video is Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi. However, the claim has been found to be completely false.
The video, which was shared on Instagram, shows a woman tied to cables with a harness and dropped from a height, as is normally seen in bungee jumping activities. The video was captioned, “@norafatehi famous Bollywood actor bad news for Bollywood.”

However, upon closer observation, it becomes clear that the woman in the video is not Nora Fatehi. Furthermore, the woman in the video is securely supported by cables, ensuring her safety throughout the activity.
Despite the obvious falsehood of the claim, many social media users fell for the fake news and began sharing the video and spreading rumours about Nora Fatehi’s supposed accident. Nora’s team has yet to react to the viral clip.

However, some responsible netizens did their research and called out the handle for spreading fake news. One user wrote, “Shame on you for posting something like that.”
Another one said, ” The internet has invited a lot of digital threats, including the distribution of unverified content, pls guys make sure you do enough research.”
