Why He Turned To Direction? Mohanlal’s Reply
After unveiling the trailer of his directorial debut Barroz, Malayalam star Mohanlal today, on Wednesday, revealed the reason for his turn to the film-making. The mega star said it just happened, adding that he had no plan to make a film, though.
“It happened, I was not in a plan to take a film, but it happened. So Many reasons, this is something special,” the actor said.

A fantasy thriller, Barroz features spectacular 3D visuals, revolving around the timeless themes of friendship and loyalty. The movie aims to elevate Indian cinema to new new global heights by delivering an entire 3D experience.
Mohanlal himself is one of the casts in the movie, alongside Mayo Rao West and June Vig. Renowned Santosh Sivan crafted the film’s cinematography, promising spectacular visuals. The film has been produced by Antony Perumbavoor under Aashirwad Cinemas in collaboration with Pen Studios,
The movie is also set for a grand release in multiple languages including Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada. Barroz will hit theaters on December 27.
