Worth Watching, Nani In Never-Seen Avatar: HIT 3 Gets Mixed Social Media Reviews
HIT 3 Review: Telugu action thriller HIT 3, starring Nani and Srinidhi Shetty, hit the big screen on Thursday, May 1. Titled, ‘HIT: The Third Case‘, the movie has been receiving mixed responses from netizens on social media, and many of them have praised Nani calling the character a never-seen avatar of the actor.
Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, HIT 3 presents Nani as SP Arjun Sarkaar, a relentless and ruthless HIT officer from Visakhapatnam. The hero is sent to the dangerous terrains of Jammu and Kashmir to investigate a series of brutal murders committed by some serial killers. The film then revolves around mysteries, psychological depth and high-octane action sequences, giving an intense and aggressive side to Nani’s character.

Another reviewer, SIIMA, observed Hit 3 as a “gritty, high-stakes thriller experience, powered by Nani’s commanding performance as SP Arjun Sarkaar.” According to the user, director Sailesh Kolanu successfully maintained a dark, intense atmosphere throughout the movie, while lauding its cinematography and background score noting that it adds moody texture.

“Nani’s portrayal of a relentless cop haunted by his past is the film’s strongest element, bringing both physical intensity and emotional complexity to the role,” the user noted.
SIIMA, however, claimed that the second half loses some momentum “due to a less compelling antagonist and occasional narrative dips.” The Climax too, the user says, lacks the shock factor or clever twist that could have elevated the story to the next level.
“Despite these shortcomings, HIT 3 stands out for its stylish execution and strong lead performance, making it a worthwhile watch for fans of crime thrillers and procedural dramas,” the reviewer wrote.
