New Delhi: There are rumors that leftover beverages and unfinished drinks were reportedly being poured back and potentially reused at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium after the T20 World Cup match.

Some clips are being circulated on social media, triggering online backlash and strong reaction from the public. The alleged clip, shot near a Thumbs Up kiosk, shows staff collecting liquid from white cups and pouring it into containers amid bottle crates ahead of India’s Group A match against Namibia.

Several users on X reacted, calling the issue a health hazard while seeking answers from organizers. Some have observed that the alleged video clip was just fresh dispenser stock being transferred to cut waste. Food safety rules ban reusing served beverages due to contamination risks.

Notably, there has been no official comment from the DDCA, BCCI, ICC, or Coca-Cola India, so far on the issue. However, as of now, there is no verified evidence confirming that leftover beverages were actually collected and re-served inside the stadium.
