AAP leader Lucky Oberoi Shot Dead In Broad Daylight In Punjab’s Jalandhar
Jalandhar, Punjab: In a shocking incident, AAP leader Lucky Oberoi was shot dead in broad daylight in Punjab’s Jalandhar on Friday.
Unidentified persons who arrived on a two-wheeler reportedly opened fire at the politician near a Gurdwara in the Model Town area. The assailants allegedly fired multiple shots at the AAP leader while he was inside his car.

Though Oberoi was rushed to the hospital, the doctors declared him dead due to the injuries from the shots. The incident occurred around 7:30 am when the 38-year-old was coming out after paying obeisance at the Model Town gurdwara in the city.
Jalandhar Commissioner of Police Dhanpreet Kaur Randhawa said that the miscreants reportedly carried out a recce of Oberoi’s movements, arrived outside the gurdwara and fired 8–10 shots using two sophisticated weapons from both sides of the vehicle. The firing reportedly shattered the window panes of his SUV as well as another vehicle parked in the gurdwara parking area.
