Aligarh Muslim University Teacher Shot Dead Near University Library
Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh: In a shocking incident, a teacher at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) was shot on Wednesday night, December 24. The shooting took place near the university library around 9 pm.
According to Professor Mohd. Wasim Ali, proctor of the university, the victim, was identified as Rao Danish Ali, a teacher at the university’s ABK School. The victim was shot in the head by unidentified assailants.

In a statement, the proctor said that they received information that there had been a shooting near the library and that a man had been injured and was being taken for medical treatment. “We later learned that the person shot was Rao Danish Ali, a teacher at the ABK School. He was shot in the head and later died at the medical college,” he added.
