Bigg Boss OTT Winner Elvish Yadav Booked For Hosting Rave Party With Snake Venom

Edited by Kabani R

Elvish Yadav, Bigg Boss OTT winner, and YouTuber has been booked for using snake venom at rave parties. Police arrested five people in Noida in relation to the case for supplying snakes and their venom at the parties.

Police reports that, through a raid at a party conducted at a banquet hall in Sector 51, nine snakes including five cobras were recovered from their custody. The raid was followed by a complaint received from People for Animals (PFA), an animal welfare NGO run by BJP MP Maneka Gandhi. The snakes were handed over to Forest Department.

When they were questioned by the police, Mr Yadav’s name came up. Five men said that parties were conducted at various farmhouses in Delhi, and associated regions. They also said that Mr Yadav used the snakes to shoot videos for social media.

Officials alleges that these people would catch snakes from different places, extract venom, and sold at a high amount.” They used to collect a hefty sum of money for supplying the venom at parties,” police said as NDTV quotes.

Ms Gandhi demanded immediate arrest of the YouTuber. “Elvish Yadav should be arrested immediately. This is a grade-I crime – that means seven years in jail. PFA laid a trap and caught these people. He uses endangered species of snakes in his videos,” NDTV quotes as Ms Gandhi is saying.

Meanwhile, in a video shared on Instagram, Ms Yadav denied the charges as “fake” and said that he is ready to cooperate in the investigation.
