Bigg Boss OTT winner, and Youtuber Elvish Yadav who was recently accused of using snakes to shoot videos for social media, told Police that snakes had been arranged by Bollywood singer Fazilpuria, NDTV reported quoting sources.

When Noida police questioned Mr Yadav about a video where he is seen with two snakes, he told officials that snakes were arranged by the singer. The police have reached out to Fazilpuria and summoned him for questioning.

Last week, Police arrested five people in Noida based on a raid conducted to capture the racket of snake smuggling. The raid was conducted following a complaint received from People for Animals (PFA), an animal welfare NGO run by BJP MP Maneka Gandhi.

In the raid conducted on the banquet hall in Sector 51, where party is being held, Police recovered nine snakes, including five cobras. The snakes were handed over to the Forest Department. Besides, the police also recovered about 20 ml of suspected snake venom, NDTV reports.

When they were questioned by the police, one of them told police that they had arranged the snakes for a party being hosted by Mr Yadav. However, the 26-year-old YouTuber denied the allegations.

The arrested people and Mr Yadav, were booked under the Wildlife (Protection) Act and Section 120A (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC. They have also been alleged of providing snake venom for recreational use for a party.

Based on the information received from the arrested person, Police questioned the YouTuber twice regarding his involvement in the sale of snake venom. They have also obtained information from Mr Yadav”s mobile phone to gather data about his call logs and past locations.

Mr Yadav was shot to fame after winning the title of ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ Season 2. He has over 15 million followers on Instagram and 14 million subscribers on YouTube.
