BJP MP Nishikant Dubey Moves Motion To Disqualify Rahul Gandhi As Lok Sabha Member
New Delhi: BJP MP Nishikant Dubey had filed a substantive motion to terminate Rahul Gandhi’s Lok Sabha membership while seeking to bar him for life from elections. The move comes a day after Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi criticized an interim India-US trade agreement, claiming it cedes control over oil imports, data rules, and agriculture to America.
The BJP leader claimed that the Congress leader is making misleading statements, military defamation, and alleged ties to foreign entities like the Soros Foundation. While the Congress contends with a political vendetta by the BJP, the motion awaiting the Speaker’s approval, which, if approved, may lead to House debate.

Notably, the government is also planning to expunge unverified parts of his speech regarding the controversial issues that surfaced recently.
