"PM Modi Is Compromised": Rahul Gandhi Says Trade Deal Yielded To US Pressures
New Delhi: Leader of the Opposition, Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday, February 3, linked the new US-India trade agreement to alleged pressure from the United States, especially with the case against Gautam Adani and unreleased controversial sex offender Jeffrey Epstein files.
The Congress leader alleged that Prime Minister Modi has yielded to the US pressures on the recent trade deal, announced by President Trump, reportedly cutting US tariffs on Indian goods from 50% to 18% in exchange for India halting Russian oil imports.

The Rae Bareilly MP Gandhi called the development a surrender of farmers’ interests. In an X post, the Congress leader said the Prime Minister is too afraid to let him speak in Parliament about Naravane, Epstein Files and how he has surrendered on Tariffs.
The accusations followed uproar in Parliament over Gandhi’s Monday speech referencing an unpublished memoir on the 2020 Ladakh standoff, leading to the House adjournment. Meanwhile, BJP leaders have rejected the claims as desperate attacks undermining national security.
