Rahul Gandhi Meets Speaker, Demands Discussion On Police Brutality On Protesting Students Over Exam Irregularities
New Delhi: As the CJP protesters resumed protest on Tuesday, July 21, after facing severe crackdown on Monday, Leader of Opposition (LoP) Rahul Gandhi met Lok Sabha Speaker along with other opposition MPs demanding detailed discussion on the police brutality against the students during the march.
The Congress leader pointed out that students were beaten for asking legitimate questions about their own future.

“Our demand is simple: Parliament must have a detailed discussion on the brutality unleashed on students yesterday and on the government’s complete lack of accountability for the examination crisis. If Parliament cannot discuss the future of India’s youth, what is it for? The Opposition will not let this be buried. We will ensure that the students’ voice will be heard on the streets, and in Parliament,” the Congress MP said. Meanwhile, BJP’s Kangana Ranaut has backed the Delhi police in oppressing the protest.
The Gen Z group Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) born from the Supreme Court chief justice remark about unemployed, has been protesting against NEET paper leaks, exam-related suicides demanding the resignation of the union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
