Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Other Leaders Detained Amid March Against Gyanesh Kumar
New Delhi: Leader of Opposition (LoP) Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, along with several other Opposition leaders have been detained during a massive protest against Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar.
The INDIA bloc was marching towards the Election Commission headquarters, where they were headed to demand the resignation of election chief Gyanesh Kumar over allegations in connection with SIR.

The protesters were detained following a sit-in near NITI Aayog. In a social media post, “Gyanesh Kumar is a thief, of course… But the one who taught him the ‘art of vote theft’ is the biggest thief of all,” the Congress wrote on X, adding that the party will keep fighting against these thieves.
“Today, the people of the country are realizing that their votes are being stolen and their freedom is being taken away. The Constitution was created through the hard work of Gandhi ji, Nehru ji, Ambedkar ji, and other leaders, but this government is determined to destroy it,” the social media post read.

गांधी जी, नेहरू जी, अंबेडकर जी और बाकी नेताओं की मेहनत से संविधान बना था, लेकिन ये सरकार उसे ख़त्म करने पर तुली है।
