'Culture Shock, I Forgive Them': PM Modi Responds To 'Foul Language' At CJP's Jantar Mantar Protest

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday night responded to viral videos from a protest at Jantar Mantar where participants used foul language against him and his late mother.

The Prime Minister said he felt the remarks against him a cultural shock which hurt society, adding that he chooses to forgive the young people involved rather than punish them. He said he was ready to forgive the misdirected children during the protest.

During the recent NEET paper leak protest by the youth of the country, the Prime Minister was subjected to mockery and ‘abuses’. The protest eventually forced former union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan to resign from his post.

The late night Instagram address is his fourth since the recent Gen Z march, which proved successful in achieving its objectives from the ruling BJP government.
