Delhi Court Grants Umar Khalid Interim Bail To Attend Sister’s Wedding

A Delhi court on Thursday granted interim bail to former JNU student and Delhi riots conspiracy accused Umar Khalid so he can attend his sister’s wedding. He will be out on bail from December 16 to December 29.

The order was passed by Additional Sessions Judge Sameer Bajpai, who said the bail was being given because it is the wedding of Khalid’s real sister. He must provide a personal bond of ₹20,000 and two sureties of the same amount.
