A train engine derailed and ended up in a field in Raghunathpur village, Bihar on Friday evening. The engine was travelling alone (without any coaches) on a loop line towards Gaya when it lost control and went off the tracks. No injuries were reported in the abode following the incident but went viral on social media.

This unusual scene occurred between Wazirganj station and Kolhna halt and the compatriots were surprised and amused to see the train engine in the middle of the field. Many people gathered to see the uncanny sight and some even joked online that trains are now being used to plough fields.

A team from the railway department arrived to help get the engine back on the tracks. However, the station manager at Wazirganj was unavailable for comment. It was said that efforts were still underway to bring the engine back on the tracks.

The social media users shared videos and photos of the derailed engine along with hilarious captions. These photos of the engine in the field sparked memes online with people poking fun at the situation calling the engine as a machine to plough the field.
