Once it was posted the video was widely shared and garnered over 169k in less than three hours. Users started spewing their opinions one user commented that every Indian doesn’t deserve better public infrastructure.

On the contrary, it is important to be factual about such incidents as users commented that “He isn’t damaging the train but breaking an already damaged glass to replace it with a new one at the maintenance depot, as the glass is glued tightly with the body it needs to be broken first.”

Since it was posted with the wrong caption, Senior Section engineer Manthira Moorthy M, in charge of Vande Bharat Express Tirunelveli stated that it’s a procedure to break an already damaged glass to replace it with a new one. He also claimed that it was done at the ‘pitline’ which had no access to the common man and said that he created that procedure.

When it was shared by many on various platforms mixed responses were noticed especially on the X platform. One user commented that “Hindutva Sanghis cannot survive without spreading disinformation.”

KP Singh, member of the national presidium at Swaraj India wrote on X: “This is how Muslims have been systematically defamed and vilified in last 10 years by Modi regime.”
