The crowd managed to flee with several bottles, leaving the police unable to stop them.

Generally, the police use a road-roller to destroy the seized liquor bottles, but this time they have bought a proclamation resulting in slowing the drive. As soon as the higher officials left the place, the locals jumped in grabbing the bottles.
