‘Dhoni Distributing Money’: Bikers Tricks Women And Fled Away With Child (image-pixabay)

A women Ranchi was tricked by bikers and kidnapped her one and half year-old daughter in Ranchi. A man and a woman on bike, convinced that the cricketer icon MS Dhoni was “distributing cash” to the poor.

The incident took place three days ago, when Madhu Devi was shopping with her two children at a stall in Ranchi, reports India Today.

Bikers approached the women and shared the news about the cricketer distributing fund to the needy. Madhu asked the bikers if they could take her to the place. They obliged and took Madhu along with her one-and-a-half-year-old daughter. While she left her eight-year-old daughter in the food stall.

Upon reaching the electricity office in Harmu, the bikers diverted her attention by saying that a meeting is being held regarding the distribution of funds inside. As Madhu’s attention was diverted, the kidnappers allegedly abducted her daughter and sped away on the bike.

Though Madhu tried to chase them, the bikers managed to escape. The police have registered the case. A senior police officer said that they are investigating in all possible angles.

But also said that there was inconsistence in Madhu’s statement as she first said that the kidnappers told to her about a government scheme for the poor and later she changed her story to say that they have mentioned Dhoni’s name.

The police are trying to ascertain whether it was a planned conspiracy by a gang involved in kidnapping children.
